AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL ELECTIONS
The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) has advised that an Australian Federal Election has been called for Saturday 24 November 2007.
The Australian Embassy in Lisbon will be conducting a pre-poll voting service during the two weeks prior to polling day. Anyone wishing to vote, and who is eligible to do so, can visit the Embassy on any week day from Monday, 12 November to Friday, 23 November between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. each day. The Embassy will not be open on Saturday, 24 November. The Embassy is closed every weekend.

Those wishing to vote should bring along their valid Australian passport.
